The Muse

Name: Fiamma Fiorani

Verses: Primarily an RE: Village OC, but open to other verses.

Age: I default her at 34, unless otherwise mentioned or discussed.

Orientation: Bisexual, demiromantic

Height: 5’3”

Build: Lithe, but wiry. She studied kickboxing for two years and while she did quit her studies, she still practices. It means little in the verses she is intended to inhabit as she is only skilled enough to fight off humans who possess limited combat ability.

To put it simply- in RE: Village she could probably take Elena Lupo in a fight or the titular "maiden" in the first demo, but aside from that- no other canon characters.

Hair: Dark brown, shoulder length, slight waves

Skin: Olive with a few dark freckles spattered across her limbs.

Smells like: Verse dependent- but generally spearmint gum and almond oil- periodically tuberose and jasmine perfume.

Voice: Silvery, feathery, smoky and on the lower end of mezzo-soprano. (in speaking, not singing, don’t ask her to sing if you value your eardrums)

Ethnicity: Italian, born in a Sicilian correctional facility.

Education: High School. Independently well-read but did not opt for a formal education beyond high school.

Personality: A true confidence woman, Fiamma sheds her personas for new ones like a snake sheds skin. Deep down she is guarded, afraid to show genuine vulnerability, but fiercely loyal to those who do get beyond her hardened shell. Her infamous mother and the attention she has gained as a result makes Fiamma question if something is “wrong” within her, a hollowness, a capacity for the callous evil exhibited by her mother. This fear of a hereditary evil makes her question if she can ever be “normal, loved and deserving of a future” or if she is predestined to commit unspeakable horrors that will condemn her, as well as those around her, to a dark end. Despite often being surrounded by a press of people within bright, cacophonous cities she feels solitary, alone.

Desires: To feel safe, to feel loved, to “feel normal”.

Fears: Her mother, holding or caring for an infant, suffocation, the possibility of an inherent wrongness/cruelty lying dormant within her.

Skills: Sleight of hand, poker-face, observation and analysis of people as well as settings, seduction (to a degree), improvisational story-telling, intuition, fluent Italian, fluent English, intermediate to poor [whatever language is spoken predominantly in whatever verse she is in if it is not English or Italian], acting, picking pockets, memory, lying easily with a straight face, palmistry, and a few colorful skills that I will leave to your lurid imagination.

Weakness: Her mother, infants, suffocation, science (if you asked her what galaxy we live in she would say “the solar galaxy”, ask what photosynthesis is and she would answer “how they used to develop old camera film”), bronchitis- it knocks her flat, deviated septum (causes migraines and sinus infections), skewed moral-compass, melancholy, slim gaps in her figurative armor that reveal a soft and desperate underbelly, do not ask her to sing because she is terrible at it, constantly on high alert for potential threats or opportunities, insomnia, allergic to beets, laughably poor throwing arm.

As this is important to the village-verse, Fiamma is definitely not a virgin.

NSFW – Will be whatever is wanted or needed, but if she was not playing an angle (which she almost always is) and was focused more on what actually interested her she would be more dominant than submissive.

Condensed Bio:
Fiamma Fiorani was born October 24th at 8:08 a.m. within a correctional facility hospital in Sicily, Italy. Her mother was none other than Anna Fiorani, a nanny accused of murdering at least four infants within her care- but was successfully convicted for only one. As there is no death penalty within Italy, Anna was sentenced to life imprisonment of no less than 21 years, with possibility for parole. The public outcry for such a light sentence was immense and the media frenzy only intensified with the imminent birth of her own baby.

From the day she first drew breath and was taken from the convicted murderess Fiamma was a topic of interest and as she entered childhood, someone to be watched with pity and suspicion by her government assigned caretakers. Fiamma’s biological father reluctantly entered her life at age eight and allowed her to live with him, his wife and three children.
Throughout her formative years she was plagued by pointed shared glances, analytical stares and remarks on how she especially must be careful not to become ill-behaved. Every act of childlike naughtiness became an omen, an homage to her maternal curse. Soon enough Fiamma came to believe and fear that monstrosity was inevitable. She was marked by the blood of four and would live a solitary existence despite the people surrounding her.
What she would later describe as the “empty” and the “hollow” became noticeable in adolescence. When she lied to keep others from her true self or to achieve a desired end, there was no guilt. Theft, deceit and suspicion became as natural to her as breathing. What initially started as the occasional opportunistic bought of shoplifting turned to pick-pocketing, then short grifts, long cons, until she eventually joined a small team of professional confidence men and women.

Her relationships were brief, shallow, with the exception of a few that managed to get past her shell. With those few she fell incredibly hard and desperate. The aftermath of such relationships could only be described as messy, devastating, and would result in an even thicker shell than existed prior.
Thirty-four years after the sentencing of Anna Fiorani the possibility of parole became a horrific reality. A nightmare that Fiamma could scarcely believe was real.

Fiamma’s desperation to leave Italy and the possible media attention led her follow one of her colleagues to Romania. They were there only to visit his cousin, but when Fiamma spotted a wealthy potential target she pursued alone despite her teammate’s warnings that working outside of their usual territory would be too great of a risk.
If Fiamma’s mind had not been so clouded with intoxication and upset she would have noticed that the man she was attempting to grift was not to be trifled with. No one would know where she had disappeared to that dark autumn night and those who did knew better than to cross Rednic, the man rumored to deliver young women into the clutches of demons.

If you are under 20 please do not engage me in an rp. It is nothing personal, just with my writing content and age I am not particularly comfortable writing with anyone younger. Age of majority varies from country to country, so this is just what is easiest for me.Please no god-modding. There are certain instances in which this is acceptable for the sake of narrative flow, but it requires plotting it in advance with me.Because of my workload this profile is semi-selective. Again, it is nothing personal. I just have limited time and will be replying slowly to threads so I can't take on too much.Warning: Due to the nature of this character's background there will be mention of past infanticide by caregiver and the character fearing committing similar atrocities as a result of being related to the murderer. As this is primarily an RE: Village OC there will also be canon-typical violence.Fiamma is a morally-grey opportunist that will do whatever it takes to survive. Is she capable of love and loyalty? Yes, but it is a rarity and she is incredibly guarded. Even within a relationship she will be consistently analyzing and assessing within her internal narrative, looking for a potential angle to work. She may not pursue it, but she will still recognize its existence. It is second nature to her at this point. If she does genuinely fall in love, she will be incredibly intense about it. Fiamma does not love in half-measures.I will not engage in noncon plotlines with the character as the perpetrator or victim of the act. Power-imbalance related dubcon - on the other hand- will be considered on a case by case basis, but needs to be plotted with me in advance.Absolutely delighted to chat with and meet new people.Interpersonal fandom drama is not welcome.NSFW is welcome and will be under a read more. Please communicate with me on this beforehand. Our muses will also need to have some form of chemistry .I do not ship exclusively.Multi-ship, multi-verse and OC friendly.
